: During the construction of the flood-protective complex of the Kronshtadt, the Finland Gulf bottom was deepened and the water supply pipes were shifted. The pipes themselves were delivered by a tugboat with a foreign flag. The length of the pipes raft was more than 600 m and it caused great difficulties for entering the port.
Task: To get the permission of carrying out Immigration and Customs formalities on the territory of the Big Kronshtadt roads, to perform maintenance of the foreign tugboat and handover pipes to the Russian tugboat.
Solution: With the help of the Committee on Transport and Transit policy of the city, the Governor of the city, with the participation of the Baltic customs, permission was obtained to carry out works on the road.
Result: Obtaining the permission was considered as the only right, safe for the port and cost-effective for the client solution, and it was realized. Since the berth cost is directly depends on the length of the tugboat and the pipes raft, it was succeeded to save the client’s money significantly.
